The Client
The Mason Center for Healthcare Education is an educational center that offers a range of courses designed to advance the careers of healthcare professionals through various certifications. This project marked the grand opening of the physical location for the client, which required strategic promotion and rollout.
Discovery
In January 2024, the Mason Center for Healthcare Education hired Solinity Marketing to plan and execute a ribbon-cutting event to launch the physical location of the education center.
The Project
Our involvement in the grand opening included creating a PR plan, a photo and video package, event production, and collaterals and swag. This multifaceted project required the combined expertise of our marketing team to create and execute each necessary piece of the project.
The Goal
To promote the success of the client’s grand opening, our team focused on clearly defining key goals, including increasing awareness of The Mason Center for Healthcare Education, engaging the local community, and connecting with potential students. We collaborated closely with the client to establish event objectives and developed a strategic timeline and task list to ensure smooth execution, aligning every detail with the center’s mission and vision.
Our Solutions
Public Relations (PR):
The press release crafted for the client’s grand opening was a cornerstone of the PR strategy. When distributed to local media outlets, the press release highlighted the mission and vision of The Mason Center for Healthcare Education, and provided important event details to generate interest. Our promotional efforts brought in 50 RSVPs from local, high-profile guests.

Photo and Video Delivery:
During and after the event, our team was active in capturing, editing, and packaging content for future use. This included on-site photography and videography during the event, with photos and video being delivered post-event. Our team was able to capture key moments of the event that helped The Mason Center for Healthcare Education showcase their major event.


Event Production:
Event Coordination
On the day of the grand opening, Solinity Marketing took on the dual role of emceeing the event and orchestrating behind-the-scenes logistics, ensuring that every moment unfolded seamlessly.
Agenda Management:
Solinity Marketing followed a carefully curated agenda with flexibility to adapt to real-time changes, coordinated transitions between speeches, and ensured a smooth flow while maintaining audience engagement.
Emceeing the Event:
Provided dynamic, on-brand narration throughout the event, including speaker introductions, transitions, and acknowledgments. Highlighted client’s milestones, such as its state-of-the-art classrooms and educational mission, to keep the audience engaged and informed.

Content Creation:
Solinity Marketing captured high-quality photos and videos during the event, focusing on candid interactions, speeches, and symbolic moments, like the ribbon cutting. Group photos of VIPs and leadership were organized to commemorate the day and provide assets for future marketing use.
Gifts and Collateral:
Our team took a thoughtful approach to gift and collateral ideation, selection, and design, curating options that aligned with The Mason Center’s branding and audience. We oversaw the design and production of these items, ensuring each was custom-branded to create a premium, memorable experience. On the day of the event, gifts were distributed strategically to attendees, enhancing appreciation and reinforcing the center’s commitment to excellence.

Results
The grand opening of The Mason Center for Healthcare Education was a resounding success, achieving each of the client’s key goals with precision and impact. Through strategic planning, creative execution, and close collaboration with the client, Solinity Marketing delivered a seamless event experience that generated meaningful awareness and engagement. Doug Bryant, Senior Vice President of Learning, Diversity, & Talent at Hillcrest Healthcare, described the day as “Surreal,” as this day marked an exciting new chapter for Healthcare Education in Knox County.
Our promotional efforts brought in 50 RSVPs from local, high-profile guests, including the mayor of Knox County. The event attracted local media outlets to promote the grand opening, which multiplied reach for The Mason Center for Healthcare Education. Our team’s involvement directly contributed to the enrollment of students in their courses.
